Half of the record consists of rerecorded tracks from their demo, but in the context of the album, they work really well.
the first half is a blast into high speed post-punk, and slipping into dreamier, almost shoegazy type soundscapes on the later half of the record.
solid record! really hope to hear this band grow more! Brian Ashton
I am pretty sure I love this album because of lines like this:
"Time cast a spell on you and you will forget me
I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me
I will follow you down ’til the sound of my voice still haunts you
You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loved you" . Somehow they hit really hard, even though the instrumentation is coercing you to sway back and forth in a positive form. quiet_calm_deceased
Lyrics reflecting the complexities of relationships and loss navigating through the emotional quagmire that ensues. Solid musicianship devoid of pretentiousness. Love everything about this release. ejh69
